Dr. Lisa Cassileth is one of only a few female plastic and reconstructive surgeons in the Los Angeles area, and her advanced techniques and specialty in minimal incision surgeries makes her a sought after hernia surgeon as well.
Dr. Cassileth has been honored with multiple prestigious awards, including numerous Top Doctor awards, recognition as one of America’s Most Honored Doctors, and the Compassionate Doctor Award.
In addition to serving two terms as the Clinical Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Cassileth is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA, where she trains and mentors surgical residents.
In 2015, Dr. Cassileth founded the Bedford Breast Center, which specializes in advanced procedures for breast cancer patients. She is also the founder of Cassileth Plastic Surgery, one of Beverly Hills' leading plastic surgery practices for the last 20 years. A trailblazer in breast reconstruction, Dr. Cassileth developed groundbreaking procedures, including one-stage breast reconstruction and SWIM flap. She sits on the advisory boards for multiple non-profit organizations, including Fertile Action and Children Mending Hearts.
Dr. Cassileth completed her surgical training at the prestigious plastic surgery program at the University of Pennsylvania and is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, three children, two (huge!) dogs, and a cat.
