In addition to her expertise in hernia repair, Dr. Memsic performs gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, endocrine, and soft tissue tumor resections; she is also a surgical oncologist and performs minimal-scar mastectomies. Despite a busy practice, Dr. Memsic continues to author numerous scientific articles and abstracts, contributing to her industry’s sphere of knowledge.
Dr. Memsic received her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine and completed her residency in general surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine. She went on to complete a fellowship in liver transplantation at UCLA and a surgical oncology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. During her free time, Dr. Memsic enjoys spending time with her family, including her beloved grandchildren.
